DONATE INSTEAD OF GIVING A PRESENT Event Donations

Whether it is a birthday, anniversary or wedding, make the most of your happy occasion and ask your guests to do a good deed by making a donation to Ocean Custody for healthy living oceans.

It’s that simple. You have two options:

1. You transfer the total amount collected

You collect the donations of the guests at your party and transfer the total amount to Ocean Custody. In this case, it is also advantageous to mention your «donations instead of presents» request in the invitation.

Please clearly mark your transfer payment with a password (e.g., «Wedding Jane and John Doe») when you transfer the donation to us.

After you have made your transfer, you will receive a donation confirmation from us for the total amount.

2. Your guests transfer the money themselves

It is best to point out in the invitation that you are foregoing gifts in favour of the ocean and its inhabitants.

Designate a password (e.g., «Birthday, John Doe») and make this known to your guests. They should be sure to state this when they make their donation. Provide our account details (below) or link our online donation form. In case you and your guests would like a receipt for your donation, guests should indicate their full postal address on the payment slip or when making an online donation.

Let us know the date of your celebration and the password in advance which will enable us to clearly allocate the donations received at your event. We would also be happy to send you payment slips or a TWINT QR code that you can send to your guests.

After your celebration, we will send you a list with the names of the donors and the amount that was collected during your fundraising initiative.
